Aggression is one of the most common problems dog owners experience and also one of the issues that commonly fails to be resolved through misguided training.

• Aggression problems are often dealt with in the wrong way. It’s not uncommon for professionals in the animal field to give up or offer solutions that only mask the problem at hand.
• First Choice Canine’s aggressive dog rehabilitation programs are available in Boston, northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire
• While neutering a dog may reduce his hormone levels, and medication may help, they really only cover up the issues and don’t solve them.
We take pride in our aggressive dog rehabilitation program and give individual focus to each dog we work with. To maintain our quality and keep pace with demand, we schedule consultations and training for this service in advance and there may be a wait time.

Meet Oscar. The video on the left shows you this Wheaton Terrier's transformation after First Choice Canine's aggression management training. If you're committed to making a change, these are the results you can expect from us.
We can help with these common dog behavior problems:
  • Aggression towards other dogs, or in some cases other animals.
  • Aggression towards children.
  • Aggression towards people; sometimes just certain people.
  • Food aggression.
  • Toy aggression, or other items the dog is possessive of.
  • Handler aggression.
  • Fear aggression.
  • Area aggression (territorial), could be a house, crate, the car, etc.
  • And numerous other types.
There are almost as many types of aggression as there are causes, and for this reason, there is no one way to "fix" aggression. We give our clients the power to manage their dogs' aggression problems by customizing the training for each dog. Our training offers something that will be reliable and effective to fit the lifestyle of the dog and owner. Our goal is to help you and your dog to start enjoying life free of the hassle and frustration of aggression problems. We invite you to schedule a training consultation today to see how we can help you and your dog by filling out our basic questionnaire.
Aggressive Dog Training Options
There's no single way to solve aggression issues. We customize the training to provide a reliable and effective solution for you and your dog. We're passionate about helping you control your dog's aggression problem and help you both start enjoying life. Consider the following options:
One-on-One Sessions
These sessions are designed for dogs with aggression problems of any type. Our trainer will meet the dog and owner for one hour each session and work on addressing aggression problems. Sessions are scheduled at the client's request, either at their home, or anywhere in public.

Aggressive Dog Rehabilitation Program
This program is available to all aggressive dogs, and is often the best option for dogs with severe aggression issues. We start with a consultation, as every dog's severity of aggression is different.

After meeting you and your dog to better understand the aggression problem(s), our trainer devises a training plan customized for your dog. The program will consist of whatever it takes to solve the problem at hand. This can include your dog staying with us, sessions in your home, or sessions elsewhere. This is to ensure that the issue has been fully resolved, not just at our home, or your home, but completely.
